Raffi Hovannisian enters presidential residence

Armenian presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian has entered the presidential residence (photos).

Several hundreds of opposition supporters gathered near the presidential residence, Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports. They decided to wait for Hovannisian.

Earlier, addressing his supporters in Liberty Square, Raffi Hovannisian said that Serzh Sargsyan did not accept his invitation to enter the square.

“However, spokesperson for President Serzh Sargsyan said he is ready to receive me any time. Respecting third president’s contribution to independent Armenia, I am accepting invitation and I am heading for talks to find the way out of the crisis,” he said.

He also informed his supporters that the next rally will be held at 5pm on Friday.
