On July 11 at 12:00 the court of general jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts will hold the trial of Armenian National Congress (HAK) activists Sargis Gevorgyan, David Kiramijyan, Tigran Arakelyan and Artak Karapetyan. During the trial, prosecutor Hakob Martirosyan will give an accusatory speech, after which the youth will give their official speeches. We remind that police arrested 7 youth activists of the Armenian National Congress due to an incident that took place near Khnko Apor Library on August 9. Later, the court terminated the case of four youth activists and sent the case to the court, while the case of the other youth is still being investigated by the Special Investigative Service. The six youth were released after signing, but Tigran Arakelyan is still under arrest. According to the RA Police, the incident near the library started when police officers called on a young man not to walk his dog with a collar, while the youth claim that the incident began when the police started provoking them.
