Authorities are preparing for election fraud

Armenian authorities are not preparing for recurrent elections, they are preparing for election fraud, Yerevan's ex-mayor, economist Vahagn Khachatryan announced during the rally of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition alliance in Yerevan. "Otherwise, the authorities would have brought oligarchs to the tax field," he said reminding the authorities of their economic promises. "The authorities said that state revenues would amount to 19 percent, while only 17 percent is predicted for 2012." Then he referred to the 2012 draft budget, saying it cannot provide economic growth. Only the change of power and conduct of fair elections can change the situation," said Vahagn Khachatryan.
